Now you can get your coffee and pie fix from one location at our Saturday and Sunday markets.
Our beans are from Altura (alturacoffee.co.nz). They’re a coffee company based on the North Shore and they make outstanding coffee.

This weekend just gone was the NZ Beer Festival and the Big Gay Out. Pienui was there for both and we had a very busy and long weekend.
It was our second time at the Beer Festival and it was proven once again that beer and pies make for a wicked combination. After a few teething problems with the event’s point-of-sale system, we managed to get into a rhythm and soon pies were flying out the door without pause for eight hours straight.
The Big Gay Out was a smaller affair but the change in pace was welcome. I was surprised to see quite a few familiar faces from people who had been at the Beer Festival the night before.
Overall a good weekend and one I won’t be forgetting for awhile.
Things are back to normal this week and we’re back at the markets this weekend. See you then.
Pienui will be serving pies and drinks at the very first Music in Parks Summer Sounds gig for 2010, tomorrow at Coyle Park (in Point Chevalier).
Playing tomorrow are Dimmer, SJD, LA Mitchell and Computers Want Me Dead.
I’ll be taking photos throughout the day and uploading them to our Flickr account.
